Christmas with family!

On Christmas day we went to My Aunt and Uncles house in Melbourne. The
temperatures have been in the 30s so we decided to have a cold Christmas
lunch – my favourite! There was soo many nice things to eat! And Henrietta
made her banana salad which I remember from my younger days – very
very yummy!


There was a wide selection of cold meats a plenty of salads – it looked like
we didn’t even make a dent in the food after we had eaten! There was a
lovely lady from Holland that was there too – she works with Henrietta –
and she brought one of her famous desserts – reis allaman its called. It’s
an almod rice pudding. I don’t normally like rice pudding, but this one was
delicious! There was also trifle, brandy cups with fresh berries and ice-
cream and custard cream puffs… Of course we had to taste all of it so by
the time we left we had eaten far too much – but enjoyed the day and the
company!
